Azmat Mujeeb is an immigrant, belongs to middleclass family, He longtime proud Pickering resident who has raised his family here, paid taxes here and spent years serving the community. He is an engineer with more than two decades of diverse corporate leadership experience, as well as a business owner, community leader, media professional and philanthropist.

For more than 15 years, he has worked with residents on everyday issues such as property taxes, neighbourhood safety, roads, sidewalks, potholes, garbage collection, snow removal, traffic congestion, parks, playgrounds and better public transit.

He has also supported newcomers, mentored youth, organized employment seminars and helped underprivileged individuals and families with food, clothing, employment opportunities, career mentorship, training and settlement guidance.
